STUDENT DRAGS COVENANT UNIVERSITY TO COURT, BEING EXPELLED FOR PONOGRAPHY

An expelled student of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state has dragged the institution to court, challenging his illegal expulsion over allegations of watching pornography and secular music on his laptop.

The student, Vwamhi Longji Felix, stated that before he was expelled his parents had spent not less than N10 million on his school fees and other expenses. He was a 400 level student of Communication Technology reportedly expelled on 23rd November 2012, following a night raid by the Student Affairs’ Unit of the institution. This was followed by his appearance before the school’s disciplinary panel which recommended his expulsion.Read on after the cut.

LIZZY ANJORIN N50MILLION MOVIE IS OUT

Lizzy Anjorin has just finished the shooting of her N50 million movie titled "Kofo the first lady".
Directed by Lasun Ray Eyinwumi, it was shot in Idumota, Lekki-Lagos and parts of Ogun State.

Remember it took Lewis almost a year to prepare for 'Lincoln'.

IRANIAN TERROR NETWORK UNCOVERED IN NIGERIA

THE State Security Service said in Abuja on Wednesday that it had uncovered a terror network, coordinated by Iranians, in Lagos.

COURT ORDERS GOV FEYEMI TO PAY SACKED CHAIRMAN, FCSC ENTITLEMENT AND ALLOWANCES

A High Court in Ado-Ekiti just ordered Gov. Fayemi to pay the sacked Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Chief Kunle Ogunlade and other members of the commission all their entitlements and allowances up to the end of their tenure.
These entitlement and allowances is about N100 million.
Immediately Fayemi assumed office, he sacked Ogunlade and four other members of the commission, who were appointed by the Segun Oni-led government in a radio broadcast.Read on after the cut.

Tommy Lee Osborn (December 23, 1923 – February 14, 2013) was an American Penticostal Evangelist and author based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Osborn was born at  Pocasset in Oklahoma.
Osborn's crusades in Thailand in 1956 and Uganda in 1957 are said to have laid the foundations for substantial growth in Pentecostalism in those countries^.
Osborn authored several books, including: Healing The Sick, Soul Winning, God's Love Plan amongst others.

FACEBOOK RECENTLY HACKED

 

Facebook has recently been attacked by an unknown group of hackers. According to Facebook, there has been no evidence of user data being compromised .
"Last month, Facebook security discovered that our systems had been targeted in a sophisticated attack," the company said in a blog post. "The attack occurred when a handful of employees visited a mobile developer website that was compromised."
Social networks have been targets of hackers recently. Not long ago twitter was infiltrated and an estimated 250,000 user accounts were reported to be potentially compromised.
Its been discovered there is a vulnerability in Oracles Java software through which hackers explore in gaining entry.
