IBORI APPEARS BEFORE COURT AGAIN

The former Delta state governor has again appeared before a London based court.Ibori, who is about five months into his nearly five-year jail term, appeared in Courtroom 5 for the confiscation of assets hearing at
the South East Court as the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and his defence team finalise arrangement to confiscate the £50 million assets for which he received a 13-year jail term at the same court in April.
Ibori's political career began in 1990 when he joine the National Repulican Convention.
After the Death of former president, Yar Adua, Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan succeeded Adua, an avowed political opponent of Ibori.
Ibori has since faced charges in Nigeria and the UK.
