The inventor of computer mouse, Douglas C. Engelbart has passed on. Aged 88, he died on tuesday at his home in Atherton Calif.
Douglas worked at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in late 1950s and it was there he developed the idea of the computer mouse. He received a patent for the mouse in 1970. Then it was a wooden device having two wheels and three buttons.
