BREAKING NEWS: 20 PEOPLE DEAD IN PLANE CRASH


As I write there has been a terrible plane crash within the airport facility in Lagos Ikeja killing no fewer than twenty people.
Reports reaching us is that there was only one survival seen coming out of the debris with blood all over him.
The plane is said to belong to Association Aircraft.
On board the flight was the corpse of former Ondo state governor, Olusegun Agagu bieng taken to Akure being accompanied by lots of his family members.
What would one say???

FIVE NORTHERN GOVERNORS TO JONATHAN: 'OUR CONDITION FOR PEACE'

The five northern governors: Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), and Muritala Nyako (Adamawa), critical of the purported move by President Goodluck Jonathan to seek re-election in 2015, yesterday met with the President at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.


The meeting, described by sources as private, lasted several hours.

Details of what was discussed at the parley were unclear at press time, although it was learnt that it was not unconnected with the crisis plaguing their party – the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Sunday Vanguard was made to understand that the five governors insisted on the removal of the PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, as their condition to be at peace with the party and the Presidency.

CHARITY UZOECHINA INSISTS, NOBODY FORCED ME INTO ISLAM


Miss Charity Uzoechina, who still lives in the palace of Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, after converting to Islam, has finally broken her silence. She called on Nigerians to leave her alone to practice the religion of her choice.

25 LEFT DEAD FOLLOWING BOKO HARAM AND CIVILIAN JTF CLASH IN BORNO

MAIDUGURI — Suspected members of Islamic sect, Boko Haram, have killed more than 25 civilians, including five vigilante youths, when the youths attacked the sect members in Dawashi Village of Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, a border town with Niger and Chad Republic.

The vigilante youths, also known as Civilian JTF and popularly called Yan Gora, in Maiduguri, who have been assisting the men of the Joint Task Force, JTF, in arresting suspected Boko Haram members, were said to have been ambushed and killed, weekend, in Mainok Village of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.

It was gathered that the Mainok incident took place when some volunteer youths from Ajilari, Gomari and Bulunkutu Kasuwa wards of Jere and Maiduguri metropolis, stormed the village in their patrol vehicles.
